I took my Four Runner in today for a simple oil change. It was where I took it the last time. While the gentleman doing the change did OK it was quite an ordeal because the person before had over tightened the filter. It is simple but of course they blamed it on a poor design by the Toyota engineers. This time they used a torque wrench to tighten which is better except for one thing they used the wrong torque 25 ft/lbs instead of 18 as is the specifications. Not sure anyone will do any better but I probably won't be going back. I blame this on the management. They need to train their "mechanics" in the proper procedure. If you pay $100 for an oil change I don't think it is too much to ask that they do it right.

Quick service for inspections and super friendly staff. I change my own oil after having my oil plug torque-wrenched and cross threaded at another oil change place.
