I truly support local businesses when I can. I have been to Dr. Clines office many times (never actually seen him) and for the most part the staff is friendly. The problem I have is the enormous wait I experience every time I visit his office. I show up on time for my appointment, I am checked in promptly and then once I am in a room I have to wait over 1 hour for someone to see me. This has happened too many times to count.

When I have job interviews, the potential employer is on time.

When I visit with my Attorney, she is on time.

When I visit with my CPA, she is on time.

Dr. Cline is an awesome man and physician. He's been my PCP for over 10 years. He's helped me through some really tough times in life. He has a couple of PA's-due to his practice increasing. I've always received top notch medical care here. They always get me in for a visit, most of the time the same day.

So, what makes a visit to the Doctors office any different? Keeping customers sitting in a small room for an hour is not the way to have returning customers.

If I am punctual, you should be as well.

If you have time, read till the end. I am a God fearing woman that believes in forgiveness, but I have lived with the repercussions of this man's negligence and non-empathetic "treatment". It's a long story, but I hope it can bring light and maybe some peace for me to share. This man has misdiagnosed and improperly treated my whole family, and had no apologies for any of it. I will start small. I was 13 and a virgin when Dr. Cline told my parents I was "too sexually active" and that's why I had a UTI. Completely inappropriate and not to mention, I struggled with UTI's until I moved from Nacogdoches at 20 and learned how to really help this. Moving forward to my mother when she was having weight issues, swollen glands and depression. Dr. Cline told her she had cancer and to -verbatim- "get her affairs in order". Through a full year of testing at MD Anderson, they could not understand the diagnosis from Cline and there were no signs of cancer. Biggest of all, my dad. My dad trusted and wanted our family to go to Cline even through all of this ill-managed treatments because "he liked the guy". And all in all, being a Doctor is no easy feat so I had understanding. But my dad in a routine physical was discovered to have low iron in his blood count. He was seeking treatment for iron deficiency, and was placed on iron pills for 2 years. Mind you we thought this was a fine treatment because..well...we aren't doctors. After those two years, he was going to Cline to discuss heavy leg pains, dizzy spells, foggy brain and general well being. He was sent on his way to rest and hydrate. Several visits, same results. A month later, he was in a wreck for misjudging distance and discovered that day that he had a large brain tumor and needed it removed in the next 24 hours and in real danger of a seizure. At this time it was discovered that he had Stage 4 Spindle Cell Renal Carcinoma. Still having a understanding that mistakes happen, when a doctor was reviewing his records, asked why he had been taking iron pills for two years? Well we were told to for his anemia. He proceeded to tell us there is no reason a man should have to be treated that long for anemia and still have reported iron issues. In fact, first thing two doctors said they would have checked was kidney function. Meaning, Cline treated something, continued blood testing over the years and saw no change in results, and never tried anything to eradicate or resolve his issue. My dad's cancer in now terminal with no treatment for a cure. We were told by several doctors that had this been discovered at stage one or two (likely when the anemia started) it could have been treated and cured. He now lives a life that is barely a life. He has had two brain tumors removed and radiation to the brain on multiple occasions, his kidney removed and sever chemo for years. And it's so unfair as it is for all with cancer, but it's so hard to understand why other doctors saw it so obviously for both my mom and dad but this Dr. Cline missed all of this? We put our trust in someone and yes, mistakes happen. But this many mistakes, this many "treatments", and ultimately this many dollars in his pocket, our family will never be the same. There was never an apology. There was never a call. And no Doctors don't owe that but we went to this doctor for 12 years. There was never an acceptance of his mistake. I pray for the ability to forgive him and truly mean it but it's a struggle. He lives his blessed life and that's fortunate for him, but he robbed my dad of a quality of life he desired to work outdoors and travel. He caused my mom a year of devastating stress that severely impacted her depression and everyday I wonder if he ever even thinks about these people. I believe in forgiveness, but I also believe those at fault of wrong-doings should truly seek forgiveness. Thanks for reading if you did. I hope this helps someone else.

When I purchased my house, the realtor was on time.

When I purchased many cars, the salesman was on time.

When I visit with my Dentist, he is on time.

Dr. Cline's staff is always super nice and gets us in fast. We never have to wait long. Dr. Cline himself is a very caring Dr who takes the time to listen to our concerns when we are in for a visit. His PA's are top notch also. We have been highly satisfied with our experience with Dr. Cline and his staff.

Dr. Cline and his team have taken care of my family for nearly ten years. They are always friendly, responsive and caring. Going to the doctor when someone is ill is never fun, but Dr. Cline and his staff make you feel welcome and they sincerely care about the well being of our family. There are countless times that they have gone above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. If you are in the area and are looking for a doctor for your family, I highly recommend Dr. Mark Cline's family practice.
