Great place to donate your leftover building materials, materials from a tear out when about to remodel including gently used major appliances, unopened paint or barely used paint is a plus to them! Everything gets used on deserving habitat for humanity homes. It's also a great place to shop for what you need for your own project, they've got shelves, a wall full of doors, a few cabinets, light covers. .it's worth checking there before running to big box!
Not like the ones in Houston. I expected way more material to be in the store. I somewhat wondered how they support the area they rent.
...OVERPRICED on everything for the last couple of years!! Who is pricing the used junk at this store? I frequently visit, yet I always find what appears to be leftover garage sale items. Things are not like they used to be at the old location. On my last visit, I found a nice piece of "rough" wood; a long block of wood that need to be planed down, cut to dimension, etc... The item was not priced. I asked for the piece to be priced and the I left. When I returned to the store a few hours later, someone had priced it at $300.00. I assumed this was a huge mistake and asked about it. Someone came out and said, "yes, that price is accurate, believe it or not." I keep going back, but if things don't change soon, I will terminate my patronage with Habitat Nacogdoches.
Not a lot of choices but I always manage to find something useful for cheap
Seriously over priced left over garage sale junk very little usable and some used items are price two times what they would have cost new whoever is doing the priceing needs a reality check
