Great food. Good service. It was parents' weekend at SFA and the place was packed so the server was a little slow starting out but excellent from there on out.
We plan our trips so we are driving through at lunch time.
Ambiance : all Texas fun; food was well above average. I had the sirloin steak with fresh broccoli . . . both were very good. The server was outstanding! All in all . . . a great experience.
Been several years since I've been here and it hasn't changed a bit. Has a comfy hometown feeling inside with "the good 'ole days memorabilia throughout the restaurant. They are famous for their onion rings (and they are very good), but the fried pickles are the best I've had! They offer a wide variety of seafood variations. Overall the food was good but I'm not like, "just can't waiting to go again" feeling. The food was good, service was great, lil pricey (but it's seafood), lots of parking and plenty of room inside. New you do have to know how to get here or use your Google map cause you can't see it from any busy street.
My wife and I had steaks an they where really good. The young lady who served us was really good at her job. She has a grate sense of humor as well as polite.. Thanks Kaitlynn M.
What a hidden gem! This place is an converted Railroad grocery warehouse and therefore has lots of interesting architecture. And lots to see on the walls. Meal cost per person around 8-10.
We loved the food. Lots of great choices.
