Very friendly and responsive staff. The restaurant was delicious from morning to night. We had the pastry chef there make a friend in our large group and it was gladly accommodated and devoured. We had a conference room available to us last minute which was great.
The bar had friendly staff that was welcoming and helpful for getting around town to the best places. Very knowledgeable of the community. Stayed there for a week and loved everyday of it. Never got a chance to try the pool because of my work schedule.
But amazing place. I can't wait to come back!
I don’t normally write reviews, but today’s experience for our family of 10 was noteworthy. We have many fond memories eating at the old venue, from seafood buffets to Easter lunches. We ate at the Thanksgiving lunch today and couldn’t have been more pleased. Every detail was attended to, and the food and service were outstanding. We couldn’t get over the bounty and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere was warm and personal. Welcome back Fredonia! We are thankful for you today and hope that Easter lunch is on the calendar!
I really enjoyed my over night stay at The Fredonia. Parking area was free and well lit. Check-in process was smooth and quick. The room was very modern with new all new fixtures. I choose the Fredonia because it promised upscale rooms with onsite dinning and adult beverages. The staff and this hotel exceeded my expectations and were well worth my money. Highly recommend staying here if you are in town.
Excellent upgraded Hotel in East Texas. Stayed before and after renovations and it is now pretty swanky place. Reception is now a sit down experience: It's almost like staying at a full service hotel sans bellman. The last time I was checked in sitting down was at a hotel Nikko along time ago
I absolutely loved my stay here. The hotel is chic, modern with all the mid century modern touches. I also love whenever I stay somewhere that doesn't have a shower/tub combo (they're still weird to me after nine years in the States).
Wonderful and beautiful place with mid century modern decor. Bright, clean, and open without overdoing any looks.
Only downside was that elevator was slooooooow. I was on the sixth floor and opted to use the stairs on most occasions.
The rooms were clean and the cleaning staff were AMAZING. They surprisingly even folded my clothes for me and straightened my shoes out near my bed. The rooms were large and comfortable. That bed was also super comfortable. Several of my friends went online to but the pillows and sheets that were used there. It really was that great.
The gift shop had high quality and unique items that even featured local products.
