Pine Creek Country Inn welcomes you into a beautiful lush canopy of trees and woods. This is a great hidden getaway. Rooms are rustic and a little dated. No frills. Staff is friendly. Swim in the little pool in the morning, not hot summer afternoon. Best part though is the beautiful setting and break from everyday stress. If you need an absence from mobile service, this is perfect. Wi-Fi available though.
Just wonderful! Not a typical hotel, out in the woods, lodge type. Sat on the deck this morning drinking coffee watching 7 deer:) VERY clean, well kept place, no restaurant during the week and 15 minute drive to a restaurant is only negative. Maybe they could sell lil pizzas?? Will def be back
Hope you're not allergic to cats. There are cats in the lobby and even on the check-in desk and was walking around on the counter as we were trying to sign paperwork. I'm only giving one star for this place and it's only for the view. It is beautiful but as far as the hospitality it's a joke! Can only pay with one card and that's the one you booked with. No complimentary coffee except at breakfast only from 9-10 and they are cleaning up by 9:45. Pull out couch frame was total messed up had to pull mattress off of the couch and sleep on the floor. Told owner that we may stay another night was told that it shouldn't be a problem, get a call after we left for a funeral by the owner that she had already booked the room and that our stuff would be moved to another party's room that we came with. Told the owner that they would be liable if anything came up missing and that we didn't want them to touch our stuff and she was yelling at me over the phone. To dial another party's room it was you had to add 10 more to the room they were in to get to their phone ext. Totally dissatisfied with this place and will not stay here again unless they get better owners.
Nice, clean, quiet facility. Attended a wedding here and had a good time. Lot of wasps in a few places, but it is Texas so that's not uncommon!
Great location - not too far from town but far enough. Venue for meetings to weddings to retreats. Nestled in the piney woods with cabins, geese, cats, and a pool. Good food as well. All reasonably priced.
