Decent enough food. My chopped beef sandwich could have used more sauce, but overall it had good flavor. The onion rings were really good. We were passing through town in a large group, stopped in for lunch, and it was quick & easy enough, but the food seemed hit or miss depending on what was ordered. I tried someone's hot sausage and it was very good, much spicier than expected!
It was terrible cheeseburger simple tomatoes was mostly squashed skin no tomatoe it is shameful take my money labor money and feed that to a customer.
I've eaten a lot of burgers. This is by far the best burger I have ever eaten. The fries are incredible as well. This place has a lot of choices including a wide variety of smoked sausage sold by the pound. Butcher Boys is always on the schedule when in Nacogdoches.
However if they want to make it up contact me when you correcred the cooks issues.
Pretty good food. Word of warning.... their spicy sausage is HOT!!!!!! Staff isn't the friendliest, but you only deal with them when ordering and paying. You might miss them if you've never been before. Their sign isn't highly visible from the street.
They ask if i would like another (yes i would but not while the same cook is here) no thank you.
Giving a 3 star rating due to the fact we detoured 3 miles off our path to try this place because it had such high ratings. Had a brisket craving after a two week road trip to DC. Brisket was chewy, had no smoke ring and was sliced with the grain. Sauce was a tad sweet. Everything else we got deserves 5 stars. Fried pickles were to die for. Large menu so if I ever get back this way, I'll order something else.
